Virginia MT Association (VMTA) Spring Business Meeting and CMTE
The Virginia MT Association (aka VMTA) is proud to announce our spring business meeting and CMTE. We'll be meeting at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA and our CMTE is being presented by Suzanne Rohrbacher and many SU students, titled "Technology and the Music Therapist." This will take place Saturday, February 26. The day's schedule is as follows:
| 9:00-9:30 | Registration |
| 9:30-12:10 | CMTE |
| 12:10-1:10 | Lunch/VMTA business meeting |
| 1:10-3:15 | CMTE |
| 3:15-4:15 | VMTA business meeting with Judy Simpson |
The CMTE is free for VMTA members and $15 for non-members. It is, of course, open to any and all interested MTs, and we especially invite those in WV, DC, and MD. No advance registration is necessary.
Attendance at either business meeting is not mandatory, however Judy Simpson is coming to our final meeting hour as we will be discussing the formation of the Virginia State Task Force (VASTF) and she will be able to answer any questions and speak to AMTA's task force plan and goals.
MAR-PASSAGES - The Annual Mid-Atlantic Region Conference for Students and new Professionals
Each October, a one day free conference is organized for and by music therapy students and new professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to take a first step in presenting at conferences. Many past Passages presenters are now successfully presenting at regional and national conferences.
Make sure to check out the MAR Passages website for more information!
AMTA National Conference
Every fall the Annual AMTA Conference is held somewhere in the United States. More information can be found through the AMTA website.
